JPA has switched its office paper from standard recycled stock to the Woodland Trust's latest product as part of an overall aim to continue reducing its environmental impact.
Woodland Trust paper is produced to the highest environmental standards: its manufacturing process emits zero C02 emissions, the energy for paper production is generated from waste material, and excess heat from this process is piped to a nearby community heating project serving some 3,000 homes and civic buildings. The paper is also totally chlorine-free, instead using oxygen, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide and per acetic acid for the bleaching process. All this has garnered it the seal of approval from the Forest Stewardship Council, Carbon Capture, Nordic Ecolabel and EU Ecolabel.
What’s more, every pack sold contributes 5p towards the Woodland’s Trust’s planting programme. This soon adds up: Devon Commercial Stationers’ clients alone helped to create 3.11 hectares of new native UK woodland during 2016, which captures some 1,244.80 tonnes of C02.
Considering this amazing paper performs and costs the same as average office paper: what’s not to love?
