Arboriculture students from Bridgwater College in Somerset enjoyed a day at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, London last month.

The tour showcased some of the largest tree specimens in the UK and inspired the students, who were able to practise identifying genus and species. Mike Cullen, programme manager for arboriculture at Bridgwater College, said of Kew: 'It's a global centrepiece for trees and a remarkable place for our students to visit.'
