We'd love to hear from you. Any of these options will get a prompt response - if you'd like to come and see us we can offer a warm welcome and some good coffee.
From the M5 come off at junction 27 and take the exit onto the A361 signed to Tiverton. Come off at the first turning into the town, straight across a mini-roundabout and then right at the next roundabout. Follow Western Way straight across two roundabouts and take a right at the third to the West Exe area of town. A right turn at the next mini-roundabout will take you over the bridge and bring you into St Peter Street. Keep going until you are almost at the church and we are on the left (look out for a small green sign outside the door). You get two hours' free parking on the street. If you are unlucky, follow the one-way system out of St Peter Street taking a right at the end, and you'll eventually come round again along Western Way to the multi-storey car park - a bargain at £2 for the day.
Alternatively, use your sat-nav and get totally lost.
We like being right in the middle of lovely Devon, sandwiched between Exmoor and Dartmoor and midway between the north and south coasts. We're surrounded by beautiful countryside but still close to the M5, with easy access to mainline trains to London, the Midlands and Cornwall. Tiverton goes back quite a long way and has a strong connection with the wool and cloth trades. Heathcoat's Fabrics, established in 1815 by John Heathcoat, is still going strong and now produces innovative, high performance fabrics. The town also offers a lovely old castle, an award-winning museum, two rivers, the Knightshayes National Trust estate, a great market which hosts a monthly street food festival, and the Grand Western Canal which has the last horse-drawn barge in the South West.
And the Independent Coffee Trader does the best cup in town, but ours is nice too.
