As the management of trees and other green issues becomes an increasingly critical aspect of development, the importance of specialist, independent arboricultural advice is set to increase.

JP Associates is able to:

• offer site survey and report preparation to BS 5837: 1991 ‘Guidance for Trees in Relation to Construction’
• incorporate surveyed details into project CAD drawings and layouts
• liaise with tree officers over work specifications
• specify tree protection measures
• offer on-site supervision of large or complex tree work contracts
• act as ‘on-call’ arboriculturist to monitor progress and deal with problems
• liaise with council officers over the discharge of arboricultural aspects of planning conditions, section 106 agreements and adoption negotiations
• work with sales teams and landscapers to present completed gardens and open spaces to specification
• offer arboricultural advice on management and ISO 9002 procedures, health and safety issues and changes to arboricultural policy
• offer advice on other environmental, conservation and landscape related issues.
